Check out the new combined blog!

I'm working on transfering over all of Emma's blog to the new one but in the meantime stay tuned for new adventures from our sweet girl!

Silly Girl

It's Good to be Emma Jo

She hasn't quite gotten the hang of pushing down the pedal but I have a feeling she will be cruising on her own in no time. Besides, who needs to drive when you have a Daddy and a Papi?!

I think her smile says it all.

Sleepy Head

After cuddling with our girl the night before her birthday, we watched the big girl completely take over the bed until it was time to wake her up to a big plate of "cakes" (cinnamon rolls). The process of waking up Emma is a delicate one. Luckily, it didn't take long for her to bounce out of bed ready to take on the world.

Can you believe it? Little Emma is a whopping two years old! Brandon and I spent last night talking, no gushing, about how proud we are of this amazing little lady. She turned our whole lives upside down and we are forever grateful. I wish I could stop time and keep her in this funny little state forever and am already missing my butterball baby. She wakes up every morning with a smile on her face, she always smells like syrup because she is crazy for waffles, she shovels ketchup in her mouth (like her Daddy) and could live off of french fries (like her Mommy). Of the many things she has learned to say, my favorites are, "I wuboo", "coooooool", "wha-happon?" and my absolute favorite, "errbody dance! woooooo yeah!". She is a talking machine and her crazy laugh sends me over the moon. She has the sweetest heart, the most curious eye and the funniest of funny bones. I am head over heels, to say the least. Happy Birthday, sweet girl!

Smarty Pants

College Life

Today was the second day we have taken Emma to the Children's Library at Lonestar College and she is absolutely loving it! She was totally obsessed with that naked and ratty looking doll, though. Oh, well. She got in some great puzzle time and just a little (like microscopic) reading done. And she only managed to punch one little girl in the stomach! I'd have to say that it was a success.
